Two hundred kindergartens to be endowed with equipment, furniture, teaching materials in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) invites the early education institutions to participate in a contest for the endowment with equipment, furniture and teaching and methodological materials. The initiative fits into the Education Quality Improvement Project, implemented with the World Bank’s support.

Two hundred beneficiary kindergartens will be selected following the contest. Priority will have the institutions which proved a tendency of maintaining or increase in the number of children in the last three years, which are set to enhance the access to the educational services for the children up to three years of age and for the ones at risk. Priority will also be given to the institutions with a larger number of children with special educational requirements, children refugees and which have a strong commitment to improve the quality of the early education.

The deadline for filling in the form is 24 March.
