Tatiana Sevciuc to be put forward for office of president of Moldova's Court of Accounts

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - Tatiana Sevciuc will be put forward to the parliament for the office of president of the Court of Accounts (CCRM). The parliamentary commission for control of public money approved a decision to this effect today.
The candidacy of Tatiana Sevciuc was selected following the organization of a public contest. In all, three files were submitted to the contest, one of which was incomplete, however. Thus, two persons were admitted to the interview examination and Tatiana Sevciuc got the largest number of points.
Tatiana Sevciuc is PhD in economics and has experience in the public money field. In 2022, she was appointed by the parliament as CCRM member.
Under the legislation, the president of the Court of Accounts is appointed by the parliament for a five-year period, with the votes of the majority of the MPs.
