Head of state meets entrepreneurs from south Moldova

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met more entrepreneurs from south Moldova, who had created and developed their businesses with the European Union’s support.

The head of state expressed appreciation for the courage and work carried out by entrepreneurs. She referred to programmes launched by the government for the business, noting that business people from Cahul attracted investments worth over 15 million lei through the 373 Programme alone in 2023.      

„This is an important step,’’ the head of state stressed. She urged the entrepreneurs to have confidence and be active in continuation in accessing such possibilities, which will be ever more with the country’s advancement on the way to EU.

„Our mission stays to bring to Moldova resources for the building of a modern, innovative and digitalized economy, without bureaucracy and the one of the entrepreneurs – to turn to good account these resources as efficiently as possible for the sustainable development of the European Union,’’ the Moldovan president also said.
