Moldovan PM supports president's initiative on organization of referendum

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has informed that he supported the initiative by President Maia Sandu on the organization of the referendum for Moldova’s accession to the European Union.   

„Along with all citizens of this country, with President Sandu, we have a common goal: the one to edify Europe at home. For this, the government builds European infrastructure in our villages and cities, well-paid jobs and qualitative public services for citizens,’’ the PM said.

The officials noted that ‘’we are united for the European Moldova and the time is fit for us to be united for the accession to the European Union.’’ ‘’The referendum is the choice which will define the destiny of the next generations, through which we confirm that Moldova is irreversibly anchored on the European way,’’ Dorin Recean said.   

The Moldovan president today held a news conference, during which she addressed the citizens and media representatives on the importance of the referendum for Moldova’s accession to the European Union.
