Premiere of play by Moldovan stage manager takes place in Cahul

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - The premiere of the play, Mother, staged by stage manager Luminita Tacu, according to a play by a Spanish dramatist, Marta Barceló, took place at the Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu Musical and Dramatic Theatre from the Cahul city on 17 March.     

Attending the event, Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan said that he had welcomed the audience from this city with European spirit, with a dynamic cultural life and with events for all generations and interests. It was not by accident that Cahul was proclaimed the Youth Capital for the 2024 year and till 2030, the settlement will be also cultural and creative capital of Moldova.      

Marta Barceló finished studies of Dramatic Art of the Institut del Teatre from Barcelona. Subsequently, she made circus studies at The Circus Space (London). Her career dealt with the production company, Res de Res i En Blanc, where she worked for 20 years as creator, actress, trapezist, co-director or author of plays. Since 2005, she has worked as script writer for fiction serials.
