Heating cheapens in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - The consumers will pay less for heating. The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) today approved lower tariffs for the thermal energy delivered to citizens by the Termoelectrica and CET-Nord enterprises.
Thus, the consumers from Chisinau served by Termoelectrica will pay 2,138 lei for one Gcal (without value added tax (VAT)), down by 636 lei against the current price.
At the same time, the consumers from Balti served by CET-Nord will pay 2,245 lei for one Gcal (without VAT), which is by 970 lei less than at present.
The decisions will enter into force with their publication in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
The last change in the tariffs for thermal energy was made in December 2023, when the prices decreased.
