Moldovan head of state says everybody's duty to bequeath free, peaceful, educated country

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met young people and teachers at the Mihai Eminescu College from the northern Soroca city and discussed the education and future, what Moldova’s accession to EU means and how everybody can give a helping hand to this process.
President Maia Sandu appreciated the fact that investments were made at the Soroca-based College for the improvement of the conditions for education. Over half a million of euros was allocated by the Education and Research Ministry from sources provided by the World Bank for the modernization of education rooms and laboratories.
„Our plan on the European Moldova’s development is about the present and especially about future, about the future of these children and of all children of Moldova. We have the duty to bequeath a free, peaceful, educated country, where the people who work honestly live in well-being,’’ the head of state stressed.
