Moldovan president, Parcani commune residents discuss development of communities from Moldova

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has met residents of the Parcani commune, northern Soroca district, with whom she discussed the developments of settlements from Moldova.
The head of state said that 34 projects worth 58 million lei in all had been financed in 28 settlements in the Soroca district within the European Village Programme alone. The Moldovan president also said that tens of thousands of people from 12 settlements would benefit from access to water and sewerage and in another six settlements – from street illumination. ‘’In the Parcani commune, the European Village programme financed the construction of the street illumination system in the Voloave village and the modernization of the mayoralty’s heating system. I delivered to the village library more sets of books donated within the government’s campaign, Library under the fir tree,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
The head of state stressed that the cabinet invested 45 million euros for the repair of the Soroca-Arionesti-Otaci road and continued to work on the building of the Cosauti-Yampil bridge. ‘’All these investments are meant to contribute to the improvement of the living of the people from our communities,’’ President Maia Sandu added.
