Moldova's parliament speaker meets Moldovans living in Vienna

Vienna, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has met Moldovans living in Vienna, with whom he discussed the latest developments in Moldova, including aspects concerning the country’s European integration and the process of accession to EU.

„The Moldovans from the Diaspora have an important role on this way of ours, being the best ambassadors of Moldova. We also spoke about the latest events at home, as well as about the announcement launched by Mrs. President Maia Sandu on the organization of a referendum, through which we will clearly say that we want to be part of the great European family,’’ the parliament speaker stressed.

Attending the discussion with Moldovans living in Vienna were also MPs Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, Adrian Belii and Ion Groza.

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu participated in the Conference of Parliament Speakers of the states of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region.
