Moldovan cabinet simplifies procedure of vehicles' registration

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - The procedure of vehicles’ registration will be simplified and will be focused on the citizen. The cabinet approved a decision to this effect. The draft is aimed at digitalizing the public services and facilitates the way the beneficiaries and the authorities interact between them.  

Under the draft, to cut the number of visits to desk, a string of acts will no longer be compulsory and the access to the documents available on the MConnect platform will be extended.  

Also, the person will be able to transmit the title on the vehicle without the compulsory presentation of the automobile. The issuance of the copy of the certificate of registration and the erasing of the vehicle from records will not be necessary either. At the same time, the term of five working days for the verifications to which the vehicle is to be subjected will be extended to 30 days.
