Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meetings with more EU officials

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi, on the second day of his visit to Brussels, has had a string of meetings, including with Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece Alexandra Papadopoulou. Chair of European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister, the co-president of the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee, Siegfried Muresan, European MP Dacian Ciolos, First Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas.
In Brussels, Deputy PM Mihai Popsoi and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece Alexandra Papadopoulou discussed key aspects of the Moldovan-Greek bilateral relations, which led to the opening of the embassy of Greece in Chisinau this spring.
During the discussion with David McAllister, Siegfried Muresan, Dacian Ciolos, Othmar Karas, Minister Popsoi tackled the support of the European Parliament in the process of Moldova’s accession to EU. Through unity, determination and assiduous work, we will achieve the goal to prepare Moldova for accession to the European Union till the end of this decade.
