EU Partnership Mission in Moldova donates consignment of IT equipment, technology to presidential institution

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - The deputy secretary general of the Moldovan President’s Apparatus, Lilia Tonu and Head of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM) Cosmin Dinescu today signed an agreement on donation of a consignment of advanced IT equipment and technology, the presidential press service has reported.    

Lilia Tonu appreciated the support provided by the European Union to Moldova, including through EUPM. She noted that the equipment donated would contribute to the consolidation of the institutional capacities in the process of EU accession, as well as to the enhancement of the state’s resilience and implementation of the reforms needed in the national security sector.    

The European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova backs the process of Moldova’s European integration through the strengthening of the institutional capacities and providing of strategic consultancy for the management of the security challenges and implementation of the reforms necessary in the national security field for the aligning with the European standards.
