Total revenues of state budget increased by 4.6% in two months of 2024

Chisinau, March 27. /MOLDPRES/- In two months of 2024, the total revenues of the state budget amounted to 9.023 billion lei, increasing by 4.6% or 394.5 million lei compared to the same period of 2023.
According to the data presented by the Ministry of Finance, the receipts from the revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service represent 4.097 billion lei (204.8 million euros), and those by the Customs Service - 5.308 billion lei.
The expenses were 12.166 billion lei, compared to the similar period of 2023, they are higher by 9.1% or by 1.011 billion lei.
The implementation of the state budget at the end of February 2024 ended with a deficit of 3.143 billion lei.
