Thirty young people from Moldova to benefit from paid probations in energy sector

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty young people graduates from the fields of engineering, economy, law, communication and IT will benefit from paid probations within more important organizations in the energy sector. The probations will be provided through the programme of probations in the energy sector titled, Present young people – future of the tomorrow energy.
During six months, the young people will be able to benefit from paid probations at the most important public and private companies from the energy sector, among which: Energy Ministry, Moldova’s National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), National Centre for Sustainable Energy (CNED), Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry, Moldelectrica, Termoelectrica, Term.md, RED-Nord, CET-Nord and Fee-Nord.
During those six months, the young people will be able to get practical knowledge, improve the technical skills and to interact with professionals in the energy sector. The probationers will benefit from a monthly scholarship and from an official certificate showing the finishing of the probation. The exercise will be held on the period April-September 2024.
In 2023, at a similar round, over 70 per cent of the young graduates of the internship programme became full-time employees at the institutions and companies where they made probations.
The programme of probations in the energy sector is an initiative backed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Moldova and is implemented by the USAID Energy Security in Moldova Project, in order to consolidate the human capital in the energy sector through the attraction of young professionals.
