MOLDCONSTRUCT, MOLDENERGY exhibitions inaugurated in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - Over 100 companies from more countries participate in the international specialized exhibitions, MOLDCONSTRUCT, the 26th edition and MOLDENERGY, the 25th edition, inaugurated at the Moldexpo exhibition centre today.    

„Our message is clear, especially for the business and it shows that we are prepared for development, that we can build and can modernize the specialized markets. We have companies which can work at the European standards, with European materials, for a European future, as well as with a big potential of investments in things which deal with people’s daily life. The exhibitions give an opportunity and  a platform in which each one can display all services and materials, in order to edify a European Moldova, along with out foreign partners which are ready to back us in this goal,’’ Energy Minister Victor Parlicov said at the inauguration ceremony.      

Attending the event, Head of the European Union’s Delegation in Moldova Jānis Mažeiks reiterated the support of the European community for Moldova, especially in projects on diminution of the energy vulnerability. ‘’We have already managed to do a lot on this segment, Moldova becoming more energy independent; yet, the plans are even greater. You enjoy our constant support to this end,’’ Jānis Mažeiks noted.    

„The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and its partners will back the extension of the present solutions of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the residential sector, in the public sector and in the private sector and will continue to counsel the local public authorities in the implementation of the energy transition plans,’’ UNDP Resident Representative in Moldova Daniela Gasparikova said.    

The MOLDENERGY exhibition is a key event in the field of efficient turning to account of the energy resources, renewable sources of solar energy, wind, biogas  energy, enforcement of energy conservation technologies, use of thermal systems, condition systems, ventilation, illumination, refrigeration. At the same time, the MOLDCONSTRUCT exhibition displays construction materials, materials for works of finishing, bricks for building trade, tile, pottery, grit stone and faience. The exhibition will contain a wide range of windows, doors, systems for terraces, industrial gates, as well as automated systems for them.       

The exhibitions will be open till 31 March and the entrance is free.
