Moldovan president meets Causeni local representatives

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu met today with Causeni mayors, and discussed important issues for local communities: safer and better roads, access to health services for residents, and development of localities through the European Village programme.
The head of state said that this year, the government has allocated almost 200 million lei for the rehabilitation of roads in Causeni and has invested 32 million lei for equipping and modernizing the district hospital in the last two years.
The President said that under the European Village Programme, about 70 million lei have been allocated to 21 localities in Causeni for investments in water and sewage systems, schools and energy efficiency projects, "things that contribute directly to improving the life quality of our people, to building a European Moldova", said Maia Sandu.
The head of state also said that in Causeni, starting from 2022, the South Regional Development Agency is implementing two projects, in which the Government has invested almost 115 million lei and through which the wastewater treatment plant is being modernized and the sewage system is being built in Causenii Vechi.
