Moldovan prime minister: New head of Customs to be appointed in coming weeks

Chisinau, April 6 /MOLDPRES/- New head of the Customs Service will be appointed in the next few weeks. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement after former director of the institution Igor Talmazan resigned.
"From my recent memory, Mr. Talmazan is the first official to submit his honorary resignation. He explained everything and I really appreciate this gesture of maturity," he said.
Talmazan announced his resignation as director of the Customs Service on 4 April.
