Romanian Commodities Exchange announces operationalization of first electronic platform of gas purchasing for Moldovan consumers

Chisinau, April 9 /MOLDPRES/- Romanian Commodities Exchange, through its company in Chisinau, announces the successful operationalization of the first electronic platform for the purchase of natural gas for non-household consumers in Moldova.

Through the instrument, any non-household consumer can secure the purchase of natural gas through an electronic auction process in which all natural gas suppliers registered on the trading platform can participate.

The first consumer to initiate a purchase transaction on the platform managed by BRM in Moldova is CET NORD S.A., with the auction scheduled for 11 April.

Officials say "operations will be carried out in a transparent, fair and efficient manner, in accordance with the procedure for the organisation and operation of the platform, whereby all transaction data are made public, including the supply contract and specifications".
