Moldovan president approached referendum on country's accession to EU with representatives of public associations

Chisinau, April 9 /MOLDPRES/- A new round of public consultations on the referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union was held today at the Presidency, the presidential press service has reported.
The discussions were attended by representatives of several public associations, which are actively involved in promoting the rights and interests of different groups of citizens, identifying solutions and providing services.
President Maia Sandu stressed the importance of the involvement of all social groups in promoting European values and the contribution each can make to shaping a better future. Civil society plays an important role in creating more informed, inclusive communities.
The head of state urged all public associations to support and promote Moldova's accession to the EU.
