Deputy premier attends Moldova Reintegration Forum

Chisinau, April 11 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today participated in Moldova Reintegration Forum, an international event that brought together officials involved in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, as well as experts and researchers interested in the issue, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.
Serebrian pointed out that with the start of military hostilities in Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the security architecture is different, which has an impact on the Transnistrian conflict settlement process.
From the perspective of a candidate state in the accession to the European Union, and also taking into account the process of resolving the Transnistrian conflict, "the constitutional authorities are open to an additional platform for dialogue with the representatives of Tiraspol in order to establish permanent communication on the European integration processes and the benefits for the population on both sides of the Dniester".
Serebrian noted that an open and frank dialogue is of interest to both Chisinau and Tiraspol, in order to maintain and develop a climate of predictability and good understanding of processes with a positive impact on the inhabitants of the two banks of the Dniester.
