Moldovan president meets CCI representatives

Chisinau, April 24 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova (CCI). The official approached the opportunities and advantages of European integration for the business environment. Maia Sandu stressed that joining the European community is the only chance for our country to maintain peace and grow the economy. In this regard, the whole society must contribute to the country's accession to the European Union.

The president stressed that in recent years, the authorities have been taking concrete steps to build an open, free and digital economy, ready to be integrated into the EU market. The head of state said that through the promoted reforms, the authorities seek to provide more freedom to entrepreneurs, investors and more space in which businesses can grow and develop. This will help strengthen trust between state and business environment, so that together they can develop even more solutions to enhance Moldova's economy.

The CCI is the largest business association in our country, bringing together more than a thousand members, enterprises from different branches of the economy.
