Moldova submitted first contribution to European Commission's enlargement package for 2024

Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova has submitted first contribution to the European Commission's enlargement package for 2024. Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov made the statement today.
"In 2023 we managed to submit a well-argued contribution, which was praised by colleagues in the Commission as well. This demonstrates both our determination to move forward on the path of Euro-integration and the firm actions we have taken to bring the country closer to the EU. We are determined to work, with maximum commitment in 2024 as well," Gherasimov said.
The official thanked colleagues from all institutions for their contribution - Government, Presidency and Parliament, ministries and state agencies, civil society, business and diaspora. "We are determined to work, with maximum commitment, also this year. European integration is our common project, and its goal is to ensure peace and make people's lives better", stressed Gherasimov.
The Republic of Moldova is taking part in this exercise for the second consecutive year.
