Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean's visit to Sangerei district began at the House of Culture in Coscodeni village, renovated under the Express European Village programme. Thanks to investments of more than 420 thousand lei, the facade of the House of Culture has been repaired, and about 2,500 inhabitants of the region benefit from better conditions in the institution.
In talks with Recean, the director of the House of Culture, Valentina Dinga, said that the renovation of the building motivates the local people to organize more cultural events. "This House of Culture has become a business card of our village," said Dinga.
Later, Recean discussed with the market visitors their concerns, the changes they expect and the importance of our country's European path for the development of the communities.
"European Moldova means comfortable villages and towns with quality public services and jobs in the localities. The government is building Europe here at home, through the development projects in our villages, implemented under the European Village Programme, as well as through the values we all share - democracy, freedom and most importantly, peace," he said.
Citizens informed the Prime Minister about the concerns they face: the need to improve living conditions in their localities, access to water and sanitation, modernisation of local infrastructure, fairness of pensions and the need for stronger action by the authorities to ensure justice that does justice.
