Moldovan deputy premier meets state secretary for EU Affairs

Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau's head of diplomacy Mihai Popsoi met with State Secretary for EU Affairs in Stockholm Christian Danielsson.

The discussions focused on Moldovan-Swedish bilateral cooperation, strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue, intensifying economic cooperation and advancing in areas of common interest. The Swedish official welcomed the impressive efforts made by Moldova in recent years to join the European Union.

They exchanged views on the regional geopolitical situation, the fight against disinformation and hybrid threats, and the prospects for the autumn elections.

The Moldovan official thanked him for Sweden's support for the reform agenda in the areas of human rights, democracy and press freedom.
