Moldovan president invites all citizens to celebrate together on Europe Day

Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/- On Europe Day, head of state Maia Sandu invites all citizens to celebrate together. The event will be organized in the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN) by the Moldovan Government in cooperation with the European Union delegation.

The official pointed out that seven decades ago, on 9 May 1950, the cornerstone for peace and unity enjoyed by the countries of the European Union was laid, "This day also marks Europe Day in the Republic of Moldova, a day on which we celebrate our desire to be part of the European family and our path to a life of well-being, security and good understanding for all Moldovans," Maia Sandu said.

On this occasion, the President called on all citizens. "We invite you together with your family and friends to celebrate Europe Day together in PMAN at an event organised by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with the European Union delegation. We will discuss the things Moldova is proud of, you will have the opportunity to talk to the Cabinet of Ministers, visit the Government House with your children, learn about the projects we are building European Moldova with and enjoy the concert on the evening of 9 May. Europe is You! European Moldova is Us!", said Maia Sandu.
