President awarded honorary title People's Artist to Alexandra Conunova

Chisinau, April 27 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu awarded the honorary title People's Artist to violinist Alexandra Conunova on the stage of the Organ Hall. "It is a well-deserved title, Alexandra is not only a great artist of our people, she is admired beyond the borders of our country," the President said.

On behalf of the audience, the President thanked the artist for her talent, which brings so much joy, but also for supporting young talents in our country through Art Alive Foundation. "It is essential for our children to have true role models, to understand that, apart from talent, the great stages of the world and of life can be conquered through character, dedication and lots and lots of work", Maia Sandu stressed.

The head of state also pointed out that Alexandra Conunova is truly "a wonderful musical ambassador of our country, as are many other artists from our country who, through their talent, are already integrating us into the great European culture".
