Chisinau, April 30 /MOLDPRES/ - Speaker Igor Grosu has discussed with International Monetary Fund delegation the country's progress in implementing the parliamentary agenda.

The official reiterated that the priorities remain the reform of justice, the fight against criminal groups and the development of a strong economy, and for this the country needs strong institutions with honest judges and prosecutors working in the interest of the citizen.

"Things have started to move at the CSM and CSP, not at the speed we would like, but we hope that through fairness and courage, we will have finality on the resonant files and cleanse the system of the corrupt. We are also counting on active cooperation with the National Bank, all the more so in the context of the negotiations for Moldova's accession to the European Union", Grosu said.
