Moldovan deputy premier has several meetings in London

Chisinau, April 30 /MOLDPRES/- On the sidelines of his official visit to London, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi met with Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland David Cameron and Minister for Europe Nus Ghani, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported.
The officials approached the strengthening of Moldovan-British bilateral relations, with a focus on strengthening the capacities of national institutions, the Moldovan reforms in the EU integration, as well as regional security issues.
Actions that could be taken to facilitate the conversion of Moldovan driving licences and the liberalisation of access to the British market for Moldovan products were also discussed.
"I thanked the British official for the fact that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland consistently supports the development and strengthening of democracy and resilience of the Republic of Moldova," said Popsoi.
For his part, the British counterpart assured of the UK's support for the modernisation of our country.
