Moldovan PM on International Workers' Day

Chisinau, May 1 /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean joined the initiative of President Maia Sandu and Speaker Igor Grosu and visited people on duty, including today, 1 May.
"Today, we celebrate work. We stand by those who do their duty fairly wherever they are. Each of us, through his work contributes to the development of this country. Together we will be able to bring well-being to every person in the Republic of Moldova.
Today on International Workers' Day I visited those for whom work cannot be interrupted for a moment and thanked them for their work, for ensuring the functionality of a state. Every profession in this country is important.
We must be close to the needs of every employee and provide them with good working conditions and opportunities to perform", Recean said.
Moldova is marking International Workers' Day today, along with several other countries around the world. It is a day-off for employees in several sectors.
