Moldovan, German officials approach cooperation

Chisinau, May 2 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met today with Manfred Pentz, Minister for Federal, European and International Affairs and Bureaucracy Reduction of Hesse, and his representative in the Federal Government, the government's communication department has reported.

The officials discussed our European path, the priorities set by the Cabinet of Ministers for carrying out the country's European integration agenda.

Gherasimov thanked the German government for the constant support in adopting European standards and strengthening the rule of law in Moldova, and for the numerous partnerships contributing to the development of our country, including through the modernization of local infrastructure. She voiced confidence that Moldova and Germany will have a strong cooperation also in the future for the benefit of all citizens.
