Moldovan deputy PM for European integration meets Ambassador of Slovenia

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov today had a meeting with Ambassador of Slovenia to Moldova Robert Kokalj, the government’s communication department has reported.

The discussion was focused on the cooperation in the European integration sector, as Slovenia is one of those ten states which joined EU on 1 May 2004.

Cristina Gherasimov thanked the Ljubljana authorities for the assistance provided to Moldova and for the support of the country’s European integration agenda. In the context, the Moldovan official stressed the importance for the country’s institutions of the exchange of good practices gained by Slovenia during the 20 years of EU membership.
