The PM appreciated the assistance provided by EU, as well as the role of the European Union’s Partnership Mission in Moldova. „I am happy that we can rely on the assistance of the European Commission, in order to edify the European Moldova, just as the European Union can count on our country for a stronger and peaceful region for the entire Europe,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.

The meeting of the Moldovan with the European Commission’s vice president took place in the context of the eighth meeting of the Moldova-European Union Association Council, held in Brussels.

The officials are to sign a partnership of security and defence between Moldova and the European Union. ‘’We expect the partnership to modernize and better structure our dialogue in the security and defence sector,’’ the PM said.
