Superior Council of Magistracy proposed to President appointment of three judges to CSJ

Chisinau, May 22 /MOLDPRES/- Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has proposed to Moldovan President Maia Sandu the appointment of Stela Procopciuc, Viorica Puica and Diana Stanila as judges of the Supreme Court of Justice.


The CSM recently interviewed four candidates for the position of judge at the CSJ. Following the performance of the candidates and the analysis of the materials of their personal files, the CSM members evaluated the candidates as follows: judge Viorica Puica scored 93 points, judge Stela Procopciuc - 93 points, judge Diana Stănilă - 85 points, judge Aurelia Cazacliu - 57 points.

Thus, according to Article 7 (3) of the Law on CSJ and p. 30 of the Regulation on the selection of judges of the CSJ, the members of the CSM proposed to the President of the Republic of Moldova the appointment of the following magistrates as judges of the CSJ: Stela Procopciuc, Viorica Puica and Diana Stănilă.

The CSM is currently examining the report on the proposal not to promote judge Adrian Ciobanu, while the Commission has not yet made a decision on the candidates Grigori Manoli and Dorin Munteanu.
