Thirteen companies of Moldova to receive grants of 3.3 million lei

Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/ - The managers of 13 companies have concluded contracts on financing with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), in order to get grants on behalf of the government and the European Union. The overall value of the non-refundable financing is of 3.3 million lei, while the total value of the investments in the economy amounts to 8 million lei.

The economic agents will invest money in modern equipment, alternative energy, ecologization of enterprises and digitalization. The grants are provided through the Start for Youth Programme, the PARE 1+2 Programme on attraction of remittances to the economy, Programme on Digital Transformation of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), as well as through the Programme on Ecologization of SMEs.

Since the beginning of this year, ODA has registered 205 companies which received grants through various programmes on entrepreneurial support in all. Their overall value is of 93 million lei, of which over 80 million lei is from the state budget.

The programmes are financed by Moldova’s government and the European Union, through ODA.
