President gives details about First Home PLUS program

Chisinau, May 28 /MOLDPRES/- Shortly after she asked the government to extend the First Home Program and to come up with a new program - First Home PLUS - which would provide access to these resources to more young people, not only to those working in state institutions, the head of state has made some clarifications about the program, the presidential press service has reported.

The executive has increased the credit limit: from 1 million to 2.5 million lei and the state guarantee quota from 50% to 70% for housing outside Chisinau and from 50% to 65% for housing in Chisinau put into operation no more than 10 years before participation. The loan period has also been extended from 25 to 30 years and the list of beneficiaries has been extended. At the same time, the procedures for accessing the programme have been simplified.
