The Netherlands supports European integration way of Moldova

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/ - The progress made in the European integration way of Moldova and the continuation of the reforms meant to modernize the country at the EU standards have been among the subjects discussed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov and Permanent Representative of the Netherlands at the European Union Pieter Jan Kleiweg de Zwaan, the government’s communication department reported.      

„I referred to the priorities of Moldova’s European integration agenda, the transformations carried out nationally and pointed out the measures which we are to undertake in the context of the last three recommendations of the European Commission, which will open our way to the first intergovernmental conference,’’ Cristina Gherasimov stressed.   

The deputy PM for European integration thanked for the continuous assistance and support provided by the Dutch authorities for backing the European vector of Moldova, as well as for the improvement of the Moldovan citizens’ living standards.
