Head of State urges citizens living abroad to attend Diaspora Invest events in coming months

Chisinau, May 29 /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu says many compatriots who have settled abroad want to return home and open a business. "At meetings with the diaspora, young people often ask me about investment opportunities at home and the instruments through which the state supports the business environment. I know that many of them have managed to make successful businesses in the countries where they went, they have gained valuable experiences and we want to see them back home as soon as possible," the head of state said.

Maia Sandu notes that the Diaspora Invest events, organized by the Investment Agency in partnership with national authorities, are a good opportunity for Moldovans in the diaspora to learn about opportunities at home, to be inspired by the stories of entrepreneurs who have managed to grow successful businesses and to discover areas with increased development potential. In the near future, similar events will take place in Paris, Padua, Berlin, Dublin and Madrid.
