Driver's licences issued in Moldova, Greece to be mutually recognized

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova and Greece will mutually recognize the driver’s licences issued in the two states. In this respect, the cabinet approved the Agreement between the governments of Moldova and Greece on the mutual recognition and conversion of driver’s licences.
In this way, the road traffic will be facilitated and the bureaucratic obstacles will be removed for the citizens who live, work or travel to the two countries. The acts will be converted without the need to take a theoretical and/or practical exam.
Moldova has signed another five treaties on mutual recognition of driver’s licences with Turkey, Lithuania, Italy, Albania, Spain, as well as a joint declaration of intent with Germany on the transcription of driver’s licences.
