Moldova to host IMF, World Bank Constituency Meeting

Chisinau, July 3 /MOLDPRES/- On July 10-12, 2024, the Republic of Moldova will host the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Constituency Meeting.
The event will bring together senior representatives of central banks and finance ministries of the member countries of the Constituency, as well as senior representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
The BNM said that for the Republic of Moldova this event "is of major importance", providing an opportunity to present the country's economic developments and opportunities.
The meeting will focus on Ensuring robust growth in a volatile and uncertain environment. Discussions will be related to issues such as mobilizing private capital and opportunities for innovation and growth driven by artificial intelligence.
The event aims to bring to the fore global economic developments, regional challenges and how to learn from the experiences and policies of the IMF and the World Bank.
The Republic of Moldova has been part of the Belgian-led and Kingdom of the Netherlands-led Constituency since August 12, 2012 along with Andorra, Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Georgia, Israel, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Romania and Ukraine.
