Moldova to get EU funding for social innovation projects

Chisinau, July 4 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will be able to access financing from European funds for the implementation of projects aimed at employment and social innovation. Lawmakers today ratified the agreement with the EU on Moldova's participation in the Employment and Social Innovation component of the European Fund Plus.

The budget foreseen for the project is 762 million euro, planned for the 2021-2027 period. Respectively, legal entities will be able to submit projects to benefit from the funding, which will be agreed upon in direct negotiations with the European Commission.

The European Social Fund Plus is an EU instrument for investment in human capital and for the period 2021-2027, has a total budget of 99.3 billion euro.
