GOVERNMENT BUILDS // Soroca kindergarten to be repaired by late 2024

Chisinau, July 9 /MOLDPRES/-  Repair of the Early Education Institution (IET) No 7 "Calina" is underway in Soroca. The works are part of an urban revitalization project financed by the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL) and implemented by North ADR. The repair works are expected to be completed by late 2024.

The renovation works of the kindergarten, which covers an area of 1,200 square meters, involve thermo-insulating the walls of the building, rebuilding the roof (520 square meters) and installing an autonomous heating system connected to renewable electricity. 

"The value of the contract is more than 7 million lei (350 thousand euros), the contribution of the Soroca City Hall is 10% of the contract value," explains the North ADR.

This year, the North ADR is implementing seven new urban development and revitalization projects in the north of the country. One of them is the project New educational opportunities for pre-school children in Dealului Romilor, Soroca municipality, submitted by Soroca city hall within the competition for identification, evaluation and approval of urban development projects, economic and social revitalization of cities.
