Monitoring of children at risk to be improved thanks to special information system

Chisinau, July 10 /MOLDPRES/- The management of social services for children at risk will be optimized following the implementation of the information system in child protection. Government approved a decision today.

According to the government's communication department, the information system will replace manual reporting processes and will provide authorities in the health, education and public order sectors with instant access to the necessary data and the possibility to track all incidents on individual child cases in time. This will enable coordinated intervention by all those involved in managing the situations.

The system will also help improve the statistical and analytical record of the activities carried out and measures applied by the authorities responsible for special protection of children. This information will help adjust public policies and target resources where they are needed.
