Moldovan, French driving licences to be mutually recognized

Chisinau, July 10 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens living in France will be able to convert their driving licenses. The cabinet today approved the signing of an agreement between the governments of the two countries, the government's communication department has reported.

Under the document, the need to take a theoretical and/or practical test in license conversion will be excluded. This will help Moldovan citizens in France and facilitate road traffic between the two countries.

The Republic of Moldova has already signed six treaties on mutual recognition of driving licenses with Turkey, Lithuania, Italy, Albania, Spain, Greece and a joint declaration of intent with Germany on conversion of driving licenses.
