Moldovan president attends graduation ceremony of Alecu Russo Balti State University

Chisinau, July 15 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today paid a working visit to Balti, and attended the graduation ceremony of the students of Alecu Russo State University, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state wished them all the best for the future and urged the young people to stay at home in Moldova.
"There are 683 young men and women, future civil servants, journalists, engineers or teachers, whom I urged to continue their path in Moldova. I have told them that the future of our country will be as we will build it together - through hard work, trust and joint efforts", the president said.
The head of state also said that today in Balti she saw a university that is being upgraded, with well-equipped classrooms and spaces where students, as well as younger children, who take robotics courses here, have interesting activities all year round.
"These achievements are due to the hard work and dedication of teachers and partners who support these transformations. We will continue to invest in education so that all students have the best conditions for study and personal development," Maia Sandu said.
