Moldova deployed two officers to EU Mission in Somalia

Chisinau, July 17 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova has deployed two National Army officers to the European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM Somalia).
According to the Defense Ministry, in Somalia, the servicemen will serve for six months and will be responsible for training representatives of defense and security structures in logistics and planning.
During the meeting with the servicemen, Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii noted that the officers have been trained and equipped according to EU requirements.
According to the MA, the decision on the deployment of the National Army's servicemen to the EU Mission in Somalia was taken by the Moldovan Government in early July.
The EUTM Somalia is the second of its kind in which Moldovan soldiers will participate.
