Farmers suffering damage due to drought can apply for Notice of default

Chisinau, July 17 /MOLDPRES/- Farmers who have suffered damages due to extreme natural events, such as drought, can apply for the issuance of the Notice of attestation of the impediment justifying the non-fulfillment of obligations from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the legal procedures, farmers who have suffered losses caused by exceptional natural events must draw up a statement of damages. Based on this act, the farmers must go to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and take the notice so that later they can go to banks, creditors and stop the process of payment of penalties and executions.

This notice is essential to justify the non-performance of contractual obligations due to force majeure. 

According to the procedure, the applicant shall submit the application and attached documents, in the case of electronically signed application, by accessing the link https://eclient.chamber.md/ro/auth/login. Documents can also be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
