Interruption of Microsoft services: Situation at Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The information systems of the Chisinau International Airport have been working without disturbances so far. The Airport’s administration made statements to this effect, given concerns about the interruptions of the Microsoft services worldwide.   

„Nevertheless, some air companies were affected as regards the bookings system, which makes more difficult the procedure of registration for flight and which can trigger delays, for reasons that the check-in procedure is to be made manually,’’ the Airport’s administration said in a press release.     

In these conditions, decision-makers urge passengers to consult the online table of the Airport, in order to verify the status of the flight planned. At the same time, passengers are warned to come to the Airport not later than three hours before the flight, in order to avoid delays.   

An information breakdown signaled in the Microsoft system all over the world trigger problems to numerous companies, among which some from the air, financial sectors, mass media, as well as other industries.
