Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations rules to allocate financial means to remove consequences of natural calamities

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - As much as 2.28 million lei from the government’s intervention fund will be allocated to the Bucovat town council, Straseni district, for the liquidation of the consequences of the landslides from April 2023. A decision to this effect was adopted at a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the government’s communication department has reported.
Another 482.86 thousand lei will be distributed for the repair of the roofs of the buildings which belong to the Centre of Temporary Placement for People with Disabilities from the Badiceni commune, northern Soroca district. They were destroyed in the wake of a natural emergency situation from 8 June 2024.
Also, the CSE members ruled to earmark 1.32 million lei for the repair of a road segment in the build-up area of the Crocmaz village, south-eastern Stefan Voda district. The road of access to the village was deteriorated, in the wake of the torrential rains with strong wind from 31 August 2023.
