Candidacy of new Moldova's finance minister to be put forward next week

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean next week will put forward the candidacy for the position of finance minister, after the parliament approves the appointment of Petru Rotaru for the office of deputy governor of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

„On 31 July, when Mr. Rotaru will be approved by the parliament as deputy governor of the National Bank of Moldova, I will put forward to President Maia Sandu the candidacy for the office of finance minister,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean told media in Ocnita.

Today morning, PM Dorin Recean said that Petru Rotaru was leaving the position of finance minister, as his candidacy is put forward for the office of BNM deputy governor.
