Victoria Belous put forward for office of Moldova's finance minister

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has made a proposal for the office of finance minister. The position is to be held by Victoria Belous, who works as deputy head of the State Fiscal Service.

„I put forwards the candidacy of Mrs. Victoria Belous for the office of finance minister. Victoria Belous worked as deputy head of the State Fiscal Service and proved professionalism and integrity in the management of the fiscal policies.

I am confident that her experience and dedication will contribute to the Finance Ministry’s efforts to ensure the financial stability and the economic growth,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.

The nomination comes after Prime Minister Dorin Recean last week informed that Petru Rotaru was leaving the position of finance minister, as his candidacy had been put forward for the office of deputy governor of the National Bank of Moldova.
